# Asset Groups

You can organize assets into logical groups for easier management and scoped reporting.

To open the Asset Groups page, click the **Asset Groups** tile on the Settings page. No asset groups come with the platform.

## Create a New Asset Group

To create a new asset group, follow these steps:

1. Click **Add Asset Group**.
2. Enter a **Name** for the asset group.
3. Enter a **Description** for the asset group.
4. Click **Add Asset Group**.

### Delete an Asset Group

To delete a created asset group, open the group from the list and, on its page, click **Delete**.

Once you delete an asset group, you cannot undo the deletion.
