# Automox

This integration supports processing devices and packages from the Automox IT operations platform. Similar to our other integrations, the Automox IT operations integration is read only.

# Supported asset types

Thr Automox integration provides the NetSPI Platform visibility into the following asset types:

  • Applications
  • IPV4 Addresses
  • Networks
  • Systems

# Endpoints used

This integration needs access to the following API endpoints:

  • /api/servers
  • /api/servers/{device_id}/packages

# Required permissions

This integration requires an API token that permits read-only access.

# Configuration steps

Use the sections below for configuring Automox to integrate with the NetSPI Platform.

# Step one: Automox system configuration

Create an Automox API token using the following steps.

  1. Log in to the Automox IT operations platform.

  2. In the configuration menu, in the upper right corner, select the ellipsis, then Keys to display the API keys page.

  3. Select the ADD button to display the CREATE AN API KEY page.

  4. Enter values for the API Key Name and optional Expiration Date, if desired, and select the CREATE button to create your Automox API key.

# Step two: NetSPI Platform CAASM configuration

Use the steps below to configure the Automox Integration in the NetSPI Platform.

  1. Log into the NetSPI Platform as a Client Admin user.

  2. Navigate to Settings -> CAASM Integrations to display the Integrations page.

  3. Select the Integration Library tab -> Integration Categories / Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) -> Automox Integration.

    This brings the Automox integration card into focus.

  4. Select the Add button on the Automox card to display the Automox integration configuration page.

  5. Select and enter values for the following fields.

    1. Select the integration type from the Integration drop-down list. In this case, Automox, which is already selected by default.

    2. Select the integration scope from the Scope drop-down list. The Automox integration can only run on a cloud scope, which was configured by NetSPI and Cloud displays as the default value.

    3. Enter an integration name and description in the Integration Name and Description fields.

    4. Select the Enabled slider button to display as either on (blue) or off (light gray).

    5. Paste or enter the API key you just created in Automox in the previous step into the Automox API key field.

  6. Select Create to create the integration. The new integration now displays on the Applied Integrations tab with its statuses: current and last run, last run time, and status (enabled/disabled).
