# Getting Started with EASM

To get started using Extern Attack Surface Management (EASM), follow the steps below.

  1. Once your CDM (Client Delivery Manager) lets you know your account has been provisioned, create a NetSPI Platform account if you haven't already done so.
  2. Visit General navigation in the NetSPI Platform for an overview and how to get around.
  3. Return to the Navigating EASM section of the NetSPI Platform guide to learn how to take advantage of all the External Attack Surface Management features.

# Configure notifications

The NetSPI Platform let's you configure notifications about updates in the platform and by email.

# Adding new EASM users

Adding new users to the NetSPI Platform is the same across all modules. Only users with the Client Admin role are able to add new EASM users for their organization.

# Filters

The NetSPI Platform allows you to apply and remove filters to all tables as well as save filters. See the Apply a new filter and the Save applied filters as a preset sections for details.

# Set up your attack surface

Let's discover your attack surface in less than 5 minutes.

Get started by navigating to the Assets page, selecting any asset class, and then selecting the Add Asset button to add items to your attack surface.

# Tag your data

Add unlimited tags to help configure your attack surface how you see it. Many views throughout the NetSPI Platform can be grouped by tag to help see assets by region, subnet, or business function.

# Explore

View the geolocation of your IP Addresses, screenshots of your Domains, and all Technologies in use across your entire attack surface. Most importantly, don't forget to check out and prioritize your Vulnerabilities.
